I have been interested in art since childhood
and have travelled widely throughout my life
including living in Western Australia.
Colour is central to my work, from exploring
the subject to creating a mood. In some of my
paintings I create a visual poetry through the
juxtaposition of imagery that is intentionally
enigmatic, the interpretation of which is
personal to the viewer.
I use mixed media to add surface texture
using materials such as paint, metal, fabric,
resin and print. I am also a printmaker
specialising in linocut and dry point.
